The safety of our children, parents, and staff is our top priority. This is reflected in our building, security equipment, and staff requirements. SACLC is licensed by the PA Department of Human Services and we meticulously uphold all licensing standards and undergo yearly inspections to ensure compliance. Our school is subject to inspection by state and city health, fire, licensing, and building agencies. A copy of our license, current DHS regulations, and our Emergency Operations Plan are available on-site for your review.
The building is equipped with a key-less entry system. Only staff and parents/guardians are able to enter the building. There are cameras that monitor all entrances and the playground.
One way blinds on all the windows ensure that students and teachers can look outside, but others can’t look in. We use the Brightwheel app to communicate with parents, check students in and out daily, and track important enrollment information.
All staff members are CPR/1st Aid trained, and receive yearly fire training. They also attend professional development classes as well as workshops to review safety policies and procedures. All staff and volunteers are mandated to obtain the necessary clearances prior to employment at SACLC.
